UAE Cadet

Role summary

This position is for a UAE Cadet who supports safe aircraft operation as a Second in Command in routine and non-routine situations. The role works under the direction of the Captain or aircraft Commander, and where relevant, the First Officer.

Core responsibilities

• Assist the Captain on an ongoing basis to help flights run safely and efficiently.
• Represent the airline professionally while on duty by maintaining strong discipline, conduct, and appearance standards.
• Support the duty of care for both crew members and customers.
• Help ensure correct fueling, baggage and cargo loading, and appropriate aircraft servicing.
• Carry out all duties in line with the airline’s Operations Manuals and related procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• English and Arabic fluency.
• Flying hours requirement: 225 hours for ages 20 to 34, or 1,000 hours for ages 35 to 50.
• GCAA air-law exam required for foreign license holders.
• ELP level 4 or above.
• Proof of completed military service before joining is preferred, or proof of military exemption.
• First-class medical certificate from ICAO.
• CPL/IR with MCC for Frozen ATPL.

Information security requirements
