Job description
Role Overview
This position is for a Typhoon Pilot based in Taif, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role is focused on delivering flying instruction to cadets in line with the relevant Royal Saudi Air Force training syllabi.
Key Responsibilities
The pilot will report to the Flying Wing Commander and conduct instructional flying missions for cadets. The role also involves guiding cadets both in the aircraft and on the ground, with an emphasis on building capability, confidence, and professional standards.
Skills and Experience Required
Applicants should have at least 1,500 hours of flying time on fast jet aircraft. Previous instructional experience is essential, and candidates must have completed at least one tour at TOCU. C to I Typhoon experience is required, including exposure to all elements of the syllabus up to IPUG.
The role calls for strong people-development ability, excellent interpersonal communication, and the confidence to influence and direct Saudi cadets effectively in both operational and classroom-style settings.
