The work schedule runs Sunday through Thursday, from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Pay starts at $19.57 per hour, with an expected hourly range of $19.57 to $24.00 depending on relevant experience, education, skills, function, location, and other legally applicable factors. Overtime compensation is also provided.
Key Job Duties
In this position, you will handle exterior tractor washing, interior trailer cleaning, and movement of equipment within the yard. You will also complete routine checks such as oil levels, window cleaning, tire pressure verification, and fluid-level monitoring for tractors and T-K units. Any maintenance concerns must be escalated to the shop, and work assignments need to be recorded in the ShopFax system. Keeping the work area clean and compliant with safety standards is an essential part of the role.
What the Company Offers
US Foods highlights a workplace where contribution is valued and rewarded. Benefits begin on day one and include medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), life insurance, and paid parental leave. Additional benefits may include health coverage, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase participation, and life insurance. The company also notes service recognition, employee rewards, leadership support, and tuition reimbursement.
Candidate Profile
The employer prefers candidates with a high school diploma or GED. You should be able to operate fleet equipment such as tractors, trailers, and service vehicles, perform cleaning and sanitation tasks on fleet assets, assess sanitation needs, and work both indoors and outdoors in changing weather. The role requires flexibility for irregular schedules, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English for job and safety-related matters. A CDL Class A is preferred, and a valid state driver’s license is required. Applicants must also be able to bend, stoop, and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
