About the Company

Part of Vestas Technology & Operations, this role sits within Manufacturing and Materials. The core aim of the position is to ensure materials are received from suppliers, moved from the warehouse to production on time, and that warehouse housekeeping and order are maintained. The role also covers blade movement within the factory and yard.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the rollout and continuous improvement of 5S practices across assigned areas to keep the workspace clean and organized.
- Act immediately after any occupational injury by visiting the company infirmary and submitting all relevant legal/official reports there without delay.
- Escalate near-misses, all accidents including those that result in financial loss, and any nonconformance events in the factory to the direct manager.
- Follow the Integrated Management System requirements, work according to defined procedures, support risk assessment and environmental-aspect activities, and share accurate information during internal and external audits. This also includes safeguarding personal and co-worker health and safety in line with training and employer instructions.
- Apply knowledge of material handling equipment (MHE).
- Verify quantities of semi-finished goods, finished goods, and consumables against delivery notes or invoices, then complete goods-receipt documentation for incoming items.
- Provide materials to production by preparing kits in line with storehouse issue forms, move orders, and departmental work requests, and record transfers correctly in the system.
- Carry out daily cleaning of the warehouse, including indoor and outdoor areas used for storage.
- Inform the Warehouse Team Leader when stock items are nearing minimum levels.
- Ensure raw materials and chemicals are stored in appropriately air-conditioned conditions.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions for assigned tasks and take preventive measures before nonconformities occur.
Qualifications
Candidates should hold an engineering degree or a comparable educational background. The role requires at least 5 years of warehouse operations experience, strong working knowledge of SAP with particular emphasis on the MM module, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
