Role Summary
This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership pathway as a Trading 2IC. In this role, you will support the Trading Manager across all shopfloor activity, with a focus on the Entertainment and Technology departments as well as Price Integrity. You will also help lead the teams working in these areas.
Working Hours
- Tuesday: 4:00 pm to 11:00 am
- Wednesday to Thursday: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
- Friday to Saturday: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
Key Duties
- Support the Trading Manager with day-to-day shopfloor operations.
- Provide leadership to the teams in Entertainment, Technology, and Price Integrity.
- Help maintain a safe workplace and encourage safe working practices.
- Ensure all required trading and compliance standards are followed.
- Keep planograms up to date and make sure promotional displays are set up accurately.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve store goals.
Candidate Profile
The right person for this role should be ambitious and ready to begin a career with The Warehouse. You must have sufficient legal permission to work in New Zealand.
Required Experience and Attributes
- Previous experience in retail.
- Demonstrated leadership capability.
- A strong focus on customer service and the in-store experience.
- Good communication skills.
