Role Overview
This position is for a detail-focused professional in Singapore who will join the Trade Operations team. The team safeguards the trading process by making sure each deal is handled accurately and in compliance with worldwide regulations. The role combines contract administration with day-to-day trade operations, covering the full process from drafting agreements through delivery and settlement coordination across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full contract journey, maintaining precise documentation and organized records for several product types.
- Coordinate trade deliveries by processing incoming and outgoing delivery actions accurately and keeping inventory balances up to date.
- Serve as a main contact for traders, clients, and internal operations teams to help resolve issues and keep transactions progressing smoothly.
- Support efficiency improvements by contributing to process optimization and automation efforts.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in contract administration, trade operations, or a comparable role in a commodity trading setting.
- Solid knowledge of trading agreements and operational processes, preferably in environmental or energy markets.
- Strong attention to detail, an organized working style, and the ability to handle urgent workflows across multiple regions.
- Excellent communication skills, with a proactive, adaptable approach in a fast-moving international environment involving many stakeholders.
- Intermediate to advanced ability in Excel.
- Native-level English is required; knowledge of Chinese is considered an advantage.
