Role Summary
This full-time position is based on site in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Tour Packages / Experience Specialist will be responsible for creating, shaping, and promoting distinctive travel packages and experiences. The role involves understanding client travel preferences, coordinating with partners, delivering strong customer support through the booking and travel process, and helping maintain a memorable travel experience from start to finish.
Core Duties
- Design and develop travel packages and curated experiences tailored to customer needs.
- Work with clients to understand preferences, expectations, and travel requirements.
- Promote travel products and experiences to improve visibility and demand.
- Provide attentive customer service during booking, planning, and travel execution.
- Coordinate with local and international partners to deliver smooth travel experiences.
- Maintain healthy relationships with suppliers and other service providers.
- Track changes and emerging patterns in the travel and tourism sector.
Required Qualifications
- Practical knowledge of travel and tourism, including destination planning, tour creation, and travel operations.
- Ability to support marketing and promotional efforts for travel packages.
- Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
- Capability to research market trends and evaluate pricing opportunities.
- Good organizational ability with experience handling several tasks, deadlines, and detailed itineraries.
- Experience with booking and scheduling tools is an added advantage.
- Strong command of English; knowledge of other languages is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
