About the Role
This opportunity is for a customer-focused, upbeat retail professional who enjoys fashion and works well in a lively store environment. The Third Key Holder supports visual presentation, merchandising, and marketing execution while partnering with management to keep the sales floor and stockroom running smoothly. When the store’s leadership team is unavailable, this person takes charge of day-to-day store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, including opening and closing routines, maintaining store presentation, restocking, merchandising, customer service, and team oversight.
- Create a welcoming shopping experience by greeting customers, recognizing them promptly, and revisiting the interaction when appropriate, while staying informed about products.
- Handle point-of-sale transactions and process customer purchases accurately.
- Follow company rules, procedures, and operating standards at all times.
- Support the Store Manager in ensuring store practices align with the employee manual and company expectations.
- Carry out other related duties assigned by the Store Manager as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of retail experience is required.
- A high school diploma is considered an advantage.
- Strong sales ability and a solid customer service mindset.
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assign tasks, take responsibility, and follow through.
- Comfortable leading a team in a positive, inclusive, and supportive way.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain on your feet for long periods and use a ladder when needed.
- Should be able to move, lift, and handle merchandise and store fixtures weighing up to 30 pounds.
Availability
Work is expected on days, evenings, and weekends.
Compensation
The expected pay range is $19.00 to $19.10 per hour. The employer follows minimum wage legislation, and wage details may take up to three months after a minimum wage increase to be updated in the job posting.
