Role Overview

This contract opportunity is for a Test Data Management professional based in Toronto, Ontario. The position follows a hybrid work model and is focused on managing, protecting, and preparing data for testing use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply test data management practices to support testing environments and data needs.
• Mask and obfuscate production data to make it safe for non-production use.
• Work with Delphix as the preferred platform, or use a comparable enterprise test data management tool such as K2View or Broadcom TDM when needed.
• Develop algorithms within Delphix or equivalent tools to support test data operations.
• Use Java for development work and leverage Python where helpful.
• Lead discussions to clarify data-related requirements and guide stakeholders through the process.

Required Knowledge and Experience

• Hands-on background in test data management.
• Practical experience with production data masking and obfuscation.
• Strong working knowledge of test data management concepts, including masking, synthetic data, and self-service capabilities.
• Understanding of data compliance and continuous data practices.
• Experience using Delphix as the main tool, or equivalent platforms if Delphix is unavailable.
• Ability to build algorithms in Delphix or a similar environment.
• Java development skills are required; Python knowledge is an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience leading requirement discussions and supporting data-related clarification efforts.
