Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to join our team on a contract basis for a period of 6+ months in Toronto, ON (Hybrid arrangement). This role requires immediate availability and a strong background in software testing within the Telecom domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and comprehend software requirement documents (Functional Specification Documents), providing constructive review feedback.
- Develop and update test cases aligned with new software features.
- Prepare relevant test data necessary for validation.
- Perform execution of test cases to ensure software quality.
- Identify, report, and verify bugs discovered during testing phases.
- Carry out functionality testing of products and conduct regression test suites.
- Maintain documentation to track test execution progress and report to the team lead.
- Undertake documentation analysis and technical implementation tasks.
Required Experience and Skills
- 3 to 5 years in a Test Analyst position.
- Familiarity with Telecom domain, specifically understanding order journey processes.
- Knowledge of using Stubs and Drivers in testing.
Additional Information
This role is based onsite in Toronto, Ontario with a hybrid working arrangement and requires a contract commitment exceeding six months.
