Role Overview
The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance across an assigned geography, supporting dealership growth, and strengthening SVM’s market presence. This role involves planning and executing territory-level sales initiatives, working closely with dealers and field teams, and ensuring that customer experience, brand standards, and after-sales coordination remain consistent across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute territory-specific sales plans that align with the company’s broader sales direction and growth targets.
- Convert regional objectives into practical territory goals to improve market share, revenue, and dealer performance.
- Track sales patterns in the assigned area and refine execution methods to meet monthly and quarterly targets consistently.
- Build sales forecasts for the territory, monitor performance indicators, and share regular updates on progress.
- Manage the allocated sales budget efficiently to improve returns and make the best use of resources.
- Keep the Area Sales Manager and Regional Sales Head informed about results, challenges, and new opportunities.
- Collect local market intelligence on customer needs, competitor activity, product positioning, pricing, and promotions.
- Share insights with product, marketing, and strategy teams to help improve offerings and strengthen market reach.
- Stay current on EV-related government policies, subsidy programs, and infrastructure changes that may influence demand.
- Work with dealership staff and field executives to support effective sales delivery.
- Train, coach, and provide performance feedback to dealer sales teams to improve capability and customer interaction.
- Conduct routine market visits to check dealer compliance, review performance, and support lead generation and retail activities.
- Ensure that all customer-facing touchpoints in the territory, including showrooms, test ride experiences, service centers, and events, reflect the company’s mission and standards.
- Improve customer satisfaction through consistent and high-quality engagement across dealer locations.
- Partner with the marketing team on localized campaigns, product introductions, and promotional programs.
- Collaborate with service teams and dealers to create a smooth after-sales experience.
- Monitor service quality and resolve customer issues quickly to protect satisfaction and repeat business.
- Help dealers strengthen service infrastructure within the territory.
- Identify opportunities to expand the retail and sub-dealer network in the assigned market.
- Support dealers with business planning, stock management, and local marketing execution.
- Contribute to dealer profitability and better customer acquisition strategies.
- Work in coordination with marketing, product, service, and finance teams to ensure goal alignment and strong execution.
- Follow company compliance requirements, ethical standards, and policies across all territory operations.
