Role Overview

The Termite Technician is responsible for carrying out termite treatment work safely and in line with company standards and approved procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess termite-related issues at customer locations and use knowledge of termite habits and behavior to decide on the right corrective approach.
  • Explain to customers the conditions that can attract termite activity and talk through treatment-related steps and any structural changes that may be needed alongside the service.
  • Work in and around buildings, including crawl spaces, stairs, and ladders, and move over or on top of structures when required.
  • Use inspection and application tools, along with small hand tools and power hammer drills, to complete the job.
  • Handle work in different environmental conditions, including seasonal weather and areas that may be damp or dusty.
  • Keep equipment and the service vehicle clean and in proper working condition.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience; experience in termite control is an added advantage.
  • Strong focus on detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed.
  • Ability to secure and keep any licenses or certifications required by federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Valid driver's license from the state of residence.
