Company Overview

Unateus is an international business that provides end-to-end fulfillment and logistics solutions throughout Africa. The team is growing its sales function and is looking for seasoned call center sales professionals who can convert leads, close deals, and consistently deliver on targets.

Role Summary

This position centers on telemarketing, order confirmation, upselling, and customer support. Performance is measured through weekly reviews, compliance with quality expectations, and regular achievement of core KPIs. You will handle warm leads from customers who have already shown interest, present products confidently, suggest suitable add-ons, confirm orders, and manage follow-ups and customer questions to create a smooth experience that encourages repeat business and protects the company’s reputation.

Responsibilities

  • Reach out to warm leads and convert interest into confirmed sales.
  • Handle telemarketing, order approval, and upselling conversations.
  • Provide customer service and respond to customer queries professionally.
  • Manage follow-ups to support repeat purchases and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Work toward weekly performance goals and quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain accurate records and stay organized while working independently.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, telesales, customer service, or a call center environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet targets and handle work with minimal supervision.
  • Own laptop or desktop, working smartphone, and headset.
  • Dependable high-speed internet connection.
  • Backup power source such as a generator, UPS, or battery inverter is required.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools and browser-based work systems.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to speak one or more major local languages is essential for effective customer communication and sales performance.
  • Sales-focused, target-oriented attitude.
  • Calm and persuasive when addressing objections.
  • Quick to learn and receptive to feedback.
  • Disciplined enough to succeed in a remote team setting.
  • Careful with documentation and reporting.
  • Good self-management and time-management skills.

Compensation

Monthly pay ranges from GHS 1,900 to GHS 4,500.
