Role overview

This position calls for an experienced coiled tubing intervention specialist to support advanced well operations in the United Arab Emirates. The role centers on complex downhole intervention work, live data-driven execution, and coordination with multiple technical teams to improve wellsite outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out advanced coiled tubing activities such as perforation, stimulation and acidizing, wellbore cleanouts, milling, zonal isolation, and plug setting.
• Use real-time downhole data, including pressure, temperature, and depth correlation, to track tool behavior, improve execution, and lower uncertainty during operations.
• Accurately correlate depth and position using downhole referencing tools such as CCL or similar systems.
• Support and execute coiled tubing conveyed perforating work with live confirmation of tool activation.
• Operate downhole sensor bottom-hole assemblies and telemetry-enabled equipment.
• Contribute to multi-service intervention programs that combine tasks such as cleanout, perforating, and evaluation in one trip.
• Analyze live operational readings and apply them to make better decisions at the wellsite.
• Work closely with wireline, completions, reservoir, and drilling teams.
• Maintain full compliance with HSE requirements and well control procedures.

Experience and technical profile

The job expects at least 5 to 10 years of experience in coiled tubing or well intervention roles. Applicants should have worked in demanding environments such as extended-reach wells, highly deviated or horizontal wells, and HPHT conditions. A solid background in coiled tubing conveyed perforating, live monitoring of downhole parameters, and depth correlation methods is essential. Experience with integrated intervention workflows, where several operations are completed in a single trip, is also important. Exposure to downhole sensors, telemetry systems, or intelligent intervention tools is required.
