Emirates Group IT is offering an entry-level development pathway for recent graduates who want to build a career in technology within the aviation sector. This one-year experience provides practical exposure, coaching, and the chance to work across areas such as AI, cloud, cybersecurity, and software engineering.
The Technology Associate will help design, build, deploy, and maintain digital products and technology services that support Emirates Group’s business operations.
What you will do
- Carry out technical work that contributes to scalable, reliable solutions built on established engineering principles.
- Review business and system needs and assist with the technical design process, helping produce solutions that match approved standards.
- Build, configure, test, and roll out technology solutions while working closely with team members to satisfy functional and technical expectations.
- Investigate incidents, pinpoint root causes, and support troubleshooting of application or system problems, escalating unresolved issues through the right internal channels.
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to spot inefficiencies and suggest process or solution improvements, while following Emirates Group IT guidelines and best practices.
- Take part in unit testing, validation, and quality assurance activities under the direction of senior colleagues.
- Help maintain technology playbooks, standards documents, and other governance materials.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or another technology-related discipline.
- CGPA of 3.0 or above, or an equivalent academic score.
- At least 1 year of exposure to current technologies through coursework or internships in technology-related areas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability for tackling technical challenges and contributing to efficient, high-quality solutions.
- Comfort working with cross-functional teams, clear communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
- Basic understanding of delivery approaches such as Agile and DevOps, plus quality assurance concepts including unit testing, functional testing, and test automation.
- Genuine interest in learning new technologies and applying them to business needs.
- Hands-on exposure to one or more modern technology areas such as application development, cloud, enterprise platforms, integration, data, digital, or security.
