Role overview
Encore Event Technologies NZ Limited is seeking experienced and qualified audio visual technicians to support premium venue partners. This position combines leadership, coordination, and practical hands-on delivery across the installation, operation, and removal of AV equipment for events of varying scale and complexity.

What you will do
You will be responsible for delivering audio visual services across live events, including setting up equipment, running shows, and managing technical requirements from start to finish. The work can involve hybrid and virtual event formats as well as camera, lighting, video, and networking tasks.
What the employer is looking for
- Practical experience operating audio visual systems and equipment.
- Exposure to hybrid and virtual event delivery.
- Camera operation experience is an advantage.
- A service-oriented approach with strong customer handling skills.
- Well-developed lighting knowledge, including GrandMA.
- Experience with advanced seamless switching, camera setup, video and data networking, and LED wall setup/programming.
- Ability to stay effective when working under pressure.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional personal presentation.
- A rigger’s ticket is highly regarded.
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
