Role overview

Lincoln College International KSA is hiring an experienced Technical Trainer in Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering for its Riyadh operation. This is a full-time, on-site role beginning on 01 July 2026, with a fixed contract length of 1 year.

What the role involves

The selected candidate will help build the next generation of engineering and manufacturing professionals by delivering engaging technical training and supporting wider workforce development efforts across Saudi Arabia. The role calls for strong hands-on industry exposure, effective facilitation ability, and a genuine commitment to creating relevant, high-impact learning experiences.

Training delivery

  • Run classroom sessions, workshop-based learning, and practical training activities.
  • Use presentations, demonstrations, case studies, simulations, and hands-on exercises to support learning.
  • Guide trainees in applying engineering concepts and workplace best practices.
  • Track learner progress and offer coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback.

Curriculum and content development

  • Create, refresh, and improve lesson plans, presentations, assessments, practical tasks, and supporting training materials.
  • Keep learning content aligned with current industry expectations, technologies, and professional practices.
  • Embed project management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement concepts into delivery.

Assessment and quality assurance

  • Assess trainee performance and judge competence against defined learning outcomes.
  • Keep training and assessment records accurate and up to date.
  • Contribute to quality assurance work and ongoing improvement efforts.

Health, safety, and compliance

  • Encourage safe work habits throughout all training activities.
  • Follow organizational policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure training spaces, equipment, and resources remain safe and effective to use.

Qualifications and experience

This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related engineering field. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in industry, specifically within industrial or manufacturing environments, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in training, coaching, teaching, or instruction. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production systems, quality management, and operational excellence is expected, as well as excellent presentation, communication, facilitation, report writing, and documentation skills. The role also requires proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and learning management systems.

Preferred background

Additional value will be given to candidates with PMP certification, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification, or other professional credentials related to manufacturing, quality, or continuous improvement.

Language requirement

Excellent English communication skills are essential. Candidates who are not native English speakers must be able to demonstrate English proficiency equivalent to IELTS Academic 6.5 or above.

Compensation and benefits

The monthly compensation package includes a base salary of SAR 17,680, a housing allowance of SAR 4,420, a transportation allowance of SAR 500, and a flight allowance of SAR 500, bringing the total gross monthly package to SAR 23,100.

Benefits include onboarding flights for candidates recruited from outside Saudi Arabia, private health insurance, visa costs covered for overseas hires, Iqama transfer costs covered by LCI for candidates already in Saudi Arabia, 30 days of annual leave per year, and an end-of-service award in line with company policy and Saudi Labour Law.
