Job description
About the role
virtUK works with UK and overseas companies to create dependable remote teams across operations, finance, client success, sales, recruitment, and technical roles. The business partners closely with founders and senior leaders to place people in long-term positions where ownership, structure, and impact are important.
This is not a short-term or temporary assignment. The focus is on professionals seeking stability, progression, and the chance to make a meaningful contribution inside established and growing businesses.
Role overview
We are looking for an experienced Technical Recruitment Resourcer to support The Loop Group, a specialist technical recruitment consultancy serving the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Singapore.
The position centres on finding, engaging, and managing strong engineering and technical talent across areas such as Fire & Security, Electrical Engineering, Data Centres, Project Management, and other specialist engineering fields.
Working directly with the business owner, you will help build talent pipelines, identify passive candidates, maintain candidate relationships, and support recruitment delivery across a range of technical markets.
This opportunity suits someone with solid recruiter instincts who enjoys sourcing niche talent and can identify high-calibre professionals through proactive search methods rather than depending only on inbound applications.
Working arrangement and compensation
This is a full-time remote role aligned to UK working hours, from 01:30 PM to 09:30 PM Sri Lanka time, Monday to Friday. The salary range offered is LKR 140,000 to 180,000 per month.
Key responsibilities
You will be responsible for sourcing technical and engineering professionals across multiple specialist disciplines, using headhunting methods and building long-term talent pools. You will also engage passive candidates through LinkedIn, email, and phone outreach, and maintain ongoing relationships throughout the recruitment process.
In addition, you will prepare and post job ads, match candidates to client requirements, keep candidate data and recruitment activity updated in Vincere CRM, support recruitment delivery across UK-focused technical markets, and research candidate pools and sourcing opportunities. You will work closely with the business owner to support recruitment growth and delivery targets.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in recruitment, resourcing, talent acquisition, or executive search. You should understand sourcing methods and talent mapping, and have strong hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and advanced Boolean search.
You must be confident in proactively finding and engaging passive candidates, spotting strong potential in niche technical markets, and supporting candidates through the full process from sourcing to placement assistance. Excellent written and spoken English is essential.
Strong organisation, attention to detail, the ability to handle several vacancies at once, and comfort working independently are also important. A professional and proactive approach is expected. Experience in engineering, construction, technical, infrastructure, or similar sectors will be a strong advantage. Familiarity with Vincere CRM or a similar ATS platform is beneficial.
Why this role stands out
Through virtUK, candidates are placed into structured roles with real businesses rather than short-term filler work. This role offers exposure to international organisations, clear responsibilities, and opportunities for long-term growth.
You will work closely with an experienced recruitment business owner, deepen your specialist technical recruitment knowledge, and become part of a growing international recruitment consultancy. High performers may also gain access to longer-term progression, broader responsibilities, and performance-linked commission and bonus potential.
Application note
Only applicants available for full-time remote work aligned with UK business hours should apply. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further role-specific discussions.
