Its stablecoin-backed corporate cards, payment solutions, and expense management products are designed to simplify financial operations and support business growth. Reap also provides APIs that let companies embed stablecoin-enabled financial capabilities into their own products, including card issuance and cross-border payments.

Why this role matters

AI is becoming a foundational capability at Reap rather than an optional enhancement. In this role, you will focus on applying AI to real customer problems and building products that create measurable business outcomes.

You will join the Platform Product team at an early stage of Reap’s AI evolution and help define the technical base for AI services and reusable AI-native product patterns across the company. This position suits someone who wants to create production-ready AI systems with tangible impact.

What you will do

  • Develop a strong understanding of how Reap’s customers work, including their challenges, workflows, and decision-making, and use that insight to identify high-value AI opportunities.
  • Take ownership of the full product lifecycle for Platform AI capabilities, from early discovery through delivery and ongoing refinement.
  • Shape the technical direction for AI services that engineering teams can build on reliably, including retrieval-augmented generation, document handling, and workflow automation.
  • Work closely with Engineering to turn AI system constraints into clear product requirements, measurable success criteria, and practical delivery plans.
  • Set standards for AI-first product development that keep customer value and measurable business outcomes at the center.
  • Apply system-level thinking to data pipelines, evaluation, reliability, safety, and iteration, while helping the team understand quality expectations.
  • Participate actively in technical discussions and be comfortable analyzing how AI services are built, where they break down, and how they can be improved.

What you bring

  • At least 8 years of product management experience, or experience in a closely related product role, including 1–2 years of recent hands-on work on AI products.
  • A technical product mindset with experience building AI applications in production, not only experimenting with models.
  • The ability to collaborate deeply with engineers on AI service design and implementation, while explaining trade-offs across architecture, data, cost, latency, and quality.
  • Strong system thinking and structured problem-solving skills, demonstrated through real examples of iteration, setbacks, and improvements.
  • Practical experience with common AI application approaches such as retrieval-augmented generation, agent-based workflows, orchestration tools such as LangChain or similar frameworks, and document processing pipelines, along with judgment on when each is appropriate.
  • A customer-first approach that starts with user pain points and turns them into AI-driven solutions with measurable gains in experience, efficiency, or revenue.
  • Experience defining evaluation methods for AI systems, including quality metrics, feedback loops, and continuous improvement, plus examples of solutions that underperformed initially and were improved over time.
  • Strong product fundamentals, including product intuition, prioritization, and the ability to align a small, fast-moving team.

Nice to have

Experience working in document-heavy areas such as operations, compliance, risk, or finance, where accuracy, traceability, and reliability are especially important.
