Job description

Overview

The Team Leader for Provider Relations in Dubai will represent the company, help onboard new providers, and nurture relationships with both existing and newly added providers across the assigned region. Reporting to the VP of Provider Relations, this role also oversees the day-to-day functioning of the network team, keeps operational work on track, and drives specialized initiatives as well as cross-functional projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead network expansion efforts for the assigned region and its provider base.
  • Handle the management of existing providers, including adding services, arranging provider visits, conducting training sessions, and resolving complaints.
  • Ensure negotiations with providers align with SAICO health benefit pricing goals, service quality expectations, and agreed payment terms.
  • Monitor and evaluate provider performance and utilization patterns.
  • Develop quarterly action plans for the providers assigned to the role.
  • Manage projects aimed at growing the SAICOHEALTH network across all regions.
  • Track team productivity related to network provider management activities to maintain steady departmental output.
  • Act as the initial escalation point for difficult provider disputes, sensitive network matters, and internal system challenges across all markets.
  • Close operational gaps in onboarding and contracting, and lead projects that automate or simplify these workflows.
  • Keep up-to-date with digital platforms and system changes; learn newly introduced software updates that affect PRD and train the team on them.
  • Deliver special projects within the required turnaround time, including scoping, planning, execution, and close-out.
  • Support detailed price analysis and impact analysis work.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a medical or business-related field, along with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the medical insurance industry.
  • A medical background or coding certification will be considered an advantage.

Additional Information

This position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and is a full-time onsite role. The role centers on provider network development, operational management, escalation handling, process improvement, and project execution within the provider relations function.
