Job description

Role overview

This position leads the deployment function for Teletrac Navman, with responsibility for the full job lifecycle, from creating work orders through to completion and closure. The role balances strategic oversight with hands-on execution to improve scheduling, manage backlog, and deliver a smooth experience for customers and installers.

You will work closely with teams across payments, support leadership, RMA/provisioning, service delivery QA, and other operational partners to keep deployment activity efficient, scalable, and accurate.

Core responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the full deployment workflow, including work order creation, progress tracking, completion, and final closure.
  • Control throughput, ageing work, and backlog levels to keep operations moving efficiently.
  • Set and reprioritise work based on customer needs and wider business goals.
  • Maintain consistent deployment methods and standard operating practices.
  • Track key measures such as scheduling speed, SLA performance, customer satisfaction, and team output.
  • Review backlog levels, completion performance, and deployment quality every day.
  • Carry out quality checks before work moves into financial processing.
  • Improve workflows, reporting, and operational dashboards on an ongoing basis.
  • Handle customer, installer, and internal escalations, and ensure issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Spot operational risks such as capacity pressure and process weaknesses, then put mitigation plans in place.
  • Work across departments to support smooth handoffs and timely financial closure.
  • Partner with Payments, Support Leadership, RMA/Provisioning, CSS Leadership, and QA teams.
  • Remove blockers that slow invoicing and processing timelines.
  • Own KPI reporting and operational dashboards, and use them to track performance.
  • Identify patterns and opportunities that can improve efficiency and service outcomes.
  • Support enhancements to systems and processes, including Salesforce and scheduling tools.
  • Help shape standard operating procedures and scalable ways of working.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the deployment team to build strong capability.
  • Create a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Encourage a strong health, safety, and compliance mindset across the team.

What the employer is looking for

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in service delivery, deployment, or an operational setting.
  • Proven ability to manage schedules, backlog, and service performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and confidence in handling escalations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and process discipline.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy, high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience improving processes and raising operational efficiency.
  • Capability to coach team members and strengthen team performance.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
