Role overview

CHAGEE Singapore is hiring a Tea Barista for its outlet in Central Singapore. This role is suited to someone who enjoys customer interaction, can prepare beverages to a consistent standard, and is comfortable supporting day-to-day store operations in a busy retail setting.

Customer service and beverage preparation

• Welcome guests warmly, answer their questions, and assist with drink selections based on taste preferences and dietary needs.
• Prepare tea beverages according to approved recipes and customer requests.
• Use the right brewing methods and equipment to maintain product quality.
• Keep menu and product knowledge up to date so customers receive accurate guidance.

Order handling and store operations

• Take and process orders accurately, including cash and electronic payment transactions.
• Follow outlet policies and operating procedures at all times.
• Share customer feedback with the management team and suggest ideas for new menu items.
• Carry out routine administrative tasks that support outlet operations.

Cleanliness, stock control, and compliance

• Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in the tea bar area in line with health, safety, and cleanliness requirements.
• Track tea inventory, flag shortages or discrepancies, replenish supplies, and receive stock deliveries when required.
• Communicate inventory requirements to management to help ensure smooth operations.

Working style and additional expectations

• Bring a responsible, motivated, and proactive attitude, with consistent punctual attendance.
• Be able to handle a fast-paced environment and manage several tasks at once.
• Use basic arithmetic confidently when handling payments and cash.
• Work well as part of a team to help the outlet meet its targets.
• Be available for different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
