Job Summary

The TDP Coordinator (Roads O&M) will support infrastructure management activities in Doha, Qatar, with a focus on Traffic Development Plan initiatives and Roads Operations & Maintenance programs. This position is centered on coordination across departments, contractors, and stakeholders to keep road assets operating efficiently and to support the ongoing growth of Qatar’s transport network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the rollout of Traffic Development Plan initiatives and make sure they stay aligned with wider organizational goals.
  • Plan and supervise day-to-day road operations and maintenance activities so they are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and supporting documentation for maintenance work, inspections, and performance tracking.
  • Review maintenance data and performance measures to spot patterns, bottlenecks, and areas that need improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and government bodies to keep operations and maintenance work running smoothly.
  • Organize and follow up on maintenance jobs, inspections, and repairs through project management tools and systems.
  • Update work plans and maintenance schedules according to asset condition findings and operational needs.
  • Track spending and budget usage for O&M activities and submit regular financial updates.
  • Carry out site visits and condition checks to assess road status and identify maintenance requirements.
  • Draft technical reports, presentations, and stakeholder communications for management review.
  • Assist in creating and improving standard operating procedures for roads operations and maintenance.
  • Ensure all work follows safety rules, environmental requirements, and internal policies.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in roads operations and maintenance coordination, infrastructure management, or project coordination.
  • Strong planning and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle several priorities at once.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with project management tools.
  • Clear written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret information and turn it into practical recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of road infrastructure systems, maintenance processes, and asset management concepts.
  • Comfortable working in a team and collaborating with a range of stakeholders.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Qatar infrastructure standards and regulations.
  • Preferred: previous exposure to the Middle East region or international infrastructure projects.
  • Preferred: experience in traffic planning and transportation network management.
