Role overview
As a strategic Talent Sourcer at MKS, you will help identify and attract exceptional talent for evolving business needs while also supporting a workplace culture that encourages long-term retention. This position reports to the Manager of Global Sourcing, Talent Intelligence, and TA Operations.
What you will do
- Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to clarify role needs, team responsibilities, and the profile of the ideal candidate for important, complex, and high-visibility openings.
- Create and run effective sourcing strategies using Boolean search methods and multiple sourcing channels.
- Approach passive candidates with tailored outreach and relationship-building efforts.
- Apply inclusive sourcing practices and actively connect with diverse talent communities.
- Carry out detailed screenings to evaluate qualifications, interest level, and availability while keeping business objectives in mind.
- Use strong research skills to track market trends, competitive insights, and new sourcing practices.
- Help teams shape role expectations by explaining requirements clearly and sharing likely market responses.
Experience and skills needed
- At least 3 years of experience sourcing technical and R&D professionals.
- Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Hands-on experience with sourcing and recruiting tools such as browser extensions, LinkedIn, Indeed, X-ray search, Talent Neuron, LinkedIn Insights, ATS platforms, and similar resources.
- Ability to handle several priorities and maintain productive relationships under deadline pressure.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present the company in a compelling way that connects with candidate motivations, career plans, and interests.
Preferred background
- Experience in the semiconductor or electrical manufacturing industry is an advantage.
- Hiring experience in Japan and Korea is preferred; familiarity with the local languages is a plus.
- Previous Workday ATS experience is beneficial.
