About the role
This position focuses on strengthening the organization’s talent agenda by using data, working closely with teams across functions, and improving talent systems and reporting. The role supports the broader HR talent strategy through initiatives such as talent review, succession planning, talent data architecture and systems, and competency-based development pathways.
Key responsibilities
The role combines strategic analytics with day-to-day operational support for talent processes.
- Use advanced analytical methods to examine talent data and turn findings into practical recommendations that improve talent strategy.
- Help design and roll out data-backed retention and talent management initiatives that align with business priorities and industry standards.
- Work with HR partners and other teams to apply data insights to targeted talent programs.
- Support alignment between talent analytics and major HR priorities such as talent acquisition, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Apply statistical techniques and predictive modelling to uncover trends, relationships, and opportunities within workforce data.
- Prepare recurring reports and leadership presentations that summarize talent metrics, patterns, and forecasted insights.
- Define important talent KPIs and build dashboards and visual tools that make insights easy to understand for stakeholders.
- Review and improve talent systems, tools, and workflows to strengthen data capture, analysis, and reporting.
- Partner with IT and HR teams to protect data quality, accuracy, privacy, and usability across talent platforms.
- Support automation efforts that reduce manual effort, improve reporting speed, and create a smoother talent experience.
- Handle sensitive talent information carefully, with full confidentiality and professional discretion.
- Contribute to the creation and rollout of competency-based development frameworks and talent assessment approaches.
- Work with the Talent and Business Psychology team on major talent initiatives including talent review, succession planning, and development journeys.
- Carry out additional department-related duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
About you
You should bring strong analytical thinking, a solid understanding of HR and talent practices, and the ability to work confidently with systems, data, and senior stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, along with at least 6 years of job-related experience.
- Strong ability to interpret talent data using statistical analysis and predictive modelling to support decision-making.
- Good understanding of HR processes and talent management, including acquisition, development, and retention.
- Experience with talent systems, data analytics platforms, and reporting or visualization tools, plus awareness of data governance and privacy requirements.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft productivity tools such as MS Office, SharePoint, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Apps.
- Ability to manage large datasets, produce detailed analysis, and create reports and presentations that clearly explain trends and forecasts.
- Comfortable adapting to change and performing effectively in a dynamic workplace.
- Strong problem-solving ability, including breaking down complex issues into workable parts and developing effective solutions.
- High ethical standards, with the ability to manage confidential information responsibly and discreetly.
