About the role

ELIQUENT Life Sciences is seeking a driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to help build strong teams that support innovation and high standards. This position is fully remote, but applicants must be based in Ireland. Initial training will require some on-site attendance in Cork, Ireland.

The role focuses on end-to-end recruitment for the client, with responsibility for creating a strong candidate journey and representing the employer brand professionally from first contact through onboarding. The company especially values experience in talent acquisition or HR within engineering or life sciences.

Key responsibilities

  • Own the full recruiting cycle, from requisition posting through to offer stage, while keeping hiring managers, candidates, and new hires informed and supported.
  • Create and nurture talent pipelines, run recruitment marketing efforts, and maintain productive relationships with workforce development partners.
  • Represent the organization at recruitment events such as job fairs and career days, and coordinate with external hiring partners including specialty recruiters, staffing agencies, and co-op programs.
  • Work closely with business leaders to understand current and future hiring needs and turn them into effective recruitment plans.
  • Ensure recruitment activity follows company policy as well as OFCCP and EEO requirements.
  • Recommend process and policy improvements that help prevent issues and support organizational growth.
  • Guide and advise hiring managers on recruitment strategy, expectations, and process best practices.
  • Select the right sourcing channels based on role requirements, urgency, and prior effectiveness, while supporting internal referral and promotion opportunities.
  • Help create or refine job descriptions with hiring managers.
  • Make sure hiring practices align with company procedures and relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Publish openings on approved job boards and screening platforms.
  • Conduct phone screens and interviews when needed.
  • Promote the organization positively to prospective candidates.
  • Deliver strong service to hiring managers, candidates, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with recruiting support for interview scheduling and offer preparation.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records in the applicant tracking system.
  • Support special projects as assigned and work toward recruiter KPIs.
  • Mentor other team members when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus at least 4 years of recruiting experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus at least 7 years of recruiting experience.
  • Hands-on experience using applicant tracking systems.
  • Proven ability to manage full life cycle recruiting and support both candidates and hiring managers through the process.
  • Strong capability in assessing candidates.
  • Advanced sourcing and candidate marketing skills.
  • Experience recruiting in Pharma, Biotech, or CRO environments is preferred.
  • Experience in talent acquisition or HR within engineering or life sciences is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of OFCCP/EEO guidelines is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities and time well.
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
  • Comfort with multitasking, flexibility, attention to detail, and maintaining a service-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to follow SOPs, GMP expectations, training requirements, and health and safety procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned by senior management.

Additional information

This is a full-time remote role. The successful candidate must be located in Ireland. On-site presence in Cork will be needed for training.

The role includes compliance responsibilities tied to company policies, employment regulations, SOPs, GMP, documentation of training, and health and safety reporting.
