Prime Healthcare is a recognized health system based in Ontario, California. It runs 54 hospitals and more than 360 outpatient facilities across 15 states, serving over 3.0 million patient visits each year. The company is looking to expand its corporate team with new talent.

Role Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a target-oriented recruiter with hands-on experience managing end-to-end hiring in busy healthcare settings. Reporting to a Talent Acquisition Manager or Lead, this person uses advanced sourcing methods, ATS and CRM platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed resources, and Boolean search strategies to find and engage strong clinical and non-clinical candidates. Working in partnership with hiring leaders, the specialist supports both urgent staffing demands and longer-term workforce goals while keeping recruitment performance data in focus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle for both clinical and non-clinical healthcare roles.
  • Use iCIMS ATS and CRM tools to manage talent pools and keep candidate information current and accurate.
  • Identify and reach out to active and passive candidates through advanced sourcing methods and recruiting tools.
  • Evaluate applicants to confirm qualifications, licenses, certifications, and overall fit.
  • Arrange interviews and work with hiring managers throughout the selection process.
  • Monitor hiring metrics such as time-to-fill, source of hire, pipeline status, and requisition progress.
  • Represent the organization at job fairs and support campus recruiting efforts to strengthen the early-career candidate pipeline.
  • Contribute to a positive candidate journey and support employer brand initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Experience creating and negotiating job offers.
  • Prior use of an electronic applicant tracking system.
  • Ability to use multiple sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication abilities.

Preferred Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Two years of talent acquisition experience, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and healthcare recruiting exposure, is preferred.

Employment Details

This is a full-time role with day shift hours.
