The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of workforce needs across craft, project management, and technical fields, with a proven ability to build candidate pipelines in challenging labor markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment for a variety of roles, including field operations, project management, estimating, engineering, and corporate support functions.

  • Design and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify suitable candidates within the construction, industrial services, oil & gas, and energy sectors.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust pipelines of craft, technical, and professional candidates in competitive regional job markets.
  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings and assessments, evaluating technical proficiencies, field experience, certifications, and project exposure.
  • Facilitate interview scheduling and ensure efficient hiring processes that align with business urgency and project deadlines.
  • Maintain precise candidate data and generate reports using the applicant tracking system.

Required Qualifications

  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years in recruiting, with specialized experience in at least one of the following areas: Construction, Oil & Gas / Energy, Industrial Services, or Engineering / Project-based environments.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting for field management, corporate, and project-specific roles.
  • A strong comprehension of recruitment challenges in difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Experience collaborating effectively with hiring managers in operations-focused organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting recruitment efforts in a company with multiple locations and a project-based operational model.
  • Familiarity with recruiting for roles such as Project Managers, Construction Managers, Estimators, Project Controls, Field Management, and various Engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical).
  • Knowledge of current workforce trends in Texas, the Gulf Coast region, or comparable markets.
  • Experience recruiting for both exempt and non-exempt employee categories.

What Success Looks Like

  • The ability to rapidly establish candidate pipelines for critical project and field positions.
  • Building strong, trusted partnerships with hiring managers, serving as a strategic advisor on recruitment.
  • Consistently achieving target time-to-fill metrics in a high-demand recruitment landscape.
  • Ensuring a positive candidate experience, even during periods of high-volume recruitment.
