About the Role
The Colleague Experience Group (CEG) at American Express is dedicated to enhancing the employee journey through comprehensive benefits and programs. As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will be the initial point of contact for candidates, representing the American Express brand and attracting top-tier talent, particularly those with a strong background in technology recruitment. Your role will involve assessing candidate pools for specific technology functions to ensure high-quality and timely hires, managing job requisitions within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Responsibilities
- Screening and evaluating candidates who apply for technology positions via the ATS.
- Coordinating interview schedules by confirming availability and finalizing dates, times, and locations.
- Conducting an average of 10-20 phone screens daily.
- Utilizing standardized phone screen templates to assess candidates against role-specific competencies and criteria.
- Crafting compelling narratives to effectively promote open technology roles to potential applicants.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate information and status within the ATS according to established procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the staffing industry or recruitment.
- Proficiency in essential technology tools such as Outlook, Web browsers, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proven ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet daily targets.
- Excellent communication skills, including written (emails, candidate summaries) and verbal (presentations to management).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in technology recruitment, specifically supporting the U.S. market.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Taleo or Eightfold.
- Proven ability to interview and assess candidates across a variety of technical profiles, such as software engineers.
