Job description

Role overview

This position is responsible for end-to-end recruitment for site-facing and professional roles across Flourish Research’s nationwide clinical research site network. You will work closely with site leadership, operations executives, and HR Business Partners to identify, assess, and secure strong talent for a wide range of positions, including Clinical Research Coordinators, Research Assistants, Patient Recruitment Specialists, Regulatory Specialists, Clinical Research Nurses, Pharmacy Technicians, Administrative Assistants, Medical Assistants, and other professional roles.

The ideal candidate has strong sourcing expertise in healthcare or clinical research, a polished executive presence, and the ability to oversee multiple confidential searches in a fast-moving, multi-site environment.

Compensation and schedule

The base pay for this role is USD 75,000 to USD 90,000 per year, depending on experience. The position follows a day shift, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This is an exempt role.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the complete recruitment process for site and professional openings, from intake meetings through offer acceptance and pre-boarding transfer.
  • Collaborate with hiring executives, site leaders, and HR Business Partners to shape search strategies, define role profiles, and recommend competitive compensation.
  • Develop and sustain active talent pipelines for high-priority recurring positions across 27 states.
  • Find passive candidates through direct outreach, professional communities, industry groups, conferences, and referrals, with the goal of reducing dependence on external search agencies.
  • Carry out detailed screenings and competency-based interviews, and submit diverse, well-matched candidate shortlists to hiring managers.
  • Oversee candidate communication throughout the process, ensuring prompt updates, structured feedback, and a strong applicant experience.
  • Lead offer preparation and negotiation in coordination with HR for assigned searches.
  • Keep applicant tracking system records accurate and compliant in Workable, and share search updates and pipeline metrics with stakeholders.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive recruitment needs, including replacement hiring and newly created roles related to acquisitions or site integrations.
  • Follow all applicable federal, state, and local hiring laws, including EEO and non-discrimination standards.
  • Support diversity efforts by creating inclusive sourcing approaches and fair selection practices.
  • Contribute to employer branding, job description creation, and ongoing improvements to talent acquisition processes and tools.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in place of a degree.
  • At least 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including 3 or more years recruiting in healthcare.
  • Background in clinical research, healthcare, or life sciences recruitment is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to source passive talent and manage retained-style searches internally.
  • Solid understanding of recruiting-related employment law basics, including EEO awareness, OFCCP awareness, and interview compliance.
  • Comfort using applicant tracking systems, preferably Workable, and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter or similar tools.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior leaders.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential searches with strong judgment and discretion.

Preferred qualifications

  • AIRS, SHRM-CP/SCP, or an equivalent certification.
  • Exposure to clinical research site operations, CRO or sponsor environments, or site network / M&A integration work.
  • Experience supporting distributed teams across multiple states.

Working conditions

This role is remote-based, with up to 10% travel for site visits, leadership meetings, and industry events. The job may involve long periods of computer and phone or video work, and flexibility is needed to connect with candidates across different time zones.

Benefits

Flourish Research provides a competitive base salary with performance incentives, plus medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and paid holidays. Final compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
