Job description

About Medisca

Medisca operates globally and works through strong partnerships to support healthcare professionals across a wide range of wellness areas. The company delivers a broad set of essential solutions, from pharmaceutical ingredients and services to mixing technology manufacturing, analytical testing, and education. Through this work, Medisca aims to close important gaps in healthcare with a strong focus on precision, innovation, and positive social impact.

Role Overview

Medisca is looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. This person should be proactive, business-minded, and comfortable working closely with leaders and the People & Culture team in a fast-paced environment. The position is expected to function as a trusted advisor, helping shape hiring decisions and talent strategies that support organizational goals.

The right candidate will bring strong recruitment analytics capability, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a commitment to creating a strong candidate journey while staying agile and results-focused.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a reliable advisor to business leaders by creating and implementing talent acquisition plans that support company objectives.
  • Work closely with the People & Culture team to align hiring priorities, workforce planning, and broader organizational needs.
  • Share market intelligence, hiring trends, and talent insights to support workforce decisions.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for a range of positions, from intake through offer acceptance and closure.
  • Help maintain fast, efficient hiring timelines while protecting quality standards.
  • Build and nurture talent pipelines for mission-critical and difficult-to-fill roles.
  • Use recruitment data and analytics to measure performance, identify patterns, and support ongoing improvements.
  • Track and report key hiring metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and source performance.
  • Apply data findings to improve hiring decisions and overall recruitment outcomes.
  • Promote an excellent candidate experience throughout every stage of the process.
  • Represent the employer brand by clearly communicating company culture, values, and employee value proposition.
  • Maintain prompt, professional, and consistent communication with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead offer conversations and negotiations with professionalism and confidence.
  • Balance candidate expectations with compensation structures and business needs.
  • Coordinate effectively with hiring managers, People & Culture partners, and external vendors.

Qualifications and Experience

The role requires at least 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, preferably in a fast-moving environment. Candidates should have a strong background in partnering with business leaders and HR or P&C teams, along with proven use of recruitment analytics to guide decisions and improve results. The position also calls for the ability to handle a high volume of requisitions without losing speed or quality.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to juggle competing priorities effectively.

Core Attributes

  • Strategic thinker with a practical, hands-on working style.
  • Business-oriented and focused on finding effective solutions.
  • Collaborative, flexible, and comfortable adapting to change.
  • Strong ownership mindset with high accountability.
  • Able to work well in uncertain and rapidly changing situations.
  • Motivated by talent development, people impact, and organizational growth.

What Medisca Offers

  • A 37.50-hour workweek with early Fridays throughout the year, plus PTO and vacation benefits.
  • Health and wellness support, including modular plan options, a health spending account, and free telemedicine.
  • A flexible work setup with a hybrid schedule and home office reimbursement.
  • Learning and growth opportunities within the organization.
  • A deferred profit sharing plan contribution when you invest in RRSPs.
  • An employee referral program.
  • Company events held throughout the year.
