Job description
Role overview
Clients Blackbox, Inc. is a fast-growing, remote-first marketing agency looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to take charge of the full hiring process. This will be the first dedicated recruiter on the team, working directly with the founder, and the role will have a major impact on how quickly the business can scale.
Base compensation for this position is $65K–$85K, with an additional bonus tied to each successful hire. The role is open to candidates located in the US only and is fully remote.
What you will be responsible for
You will manage recruiting from start to finish and help build a proactive talent pipeline so hiring does not happen only when a role becomes urgent. The focus will be on marketing, sales, creative, and operations positions.
- Run end-to-end recruiting for about 8 to 12 positions each year across paid media, video editing, account management, sales, and operations.
- Find candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Wellfound, Indeed, and specialized agency communities.
- Conduct initial screening conversations and written evaluations for applicants.
- Coordinate interview stages, handle reference verification, and manage offer-related details.
- Develop and maintain a ready bench of pre-qualified candidates.
- Measure and report on time-to-fill, source effectiveness, offer acceptance rates, and 90-day retention.
Required background
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a marketing agency, SaaS environment, or another remote-first company. Success in filling roles in less than 30 days is important, along with strong written communication skills suited to an async-first workflow.
This role requires comfort with both high-volume sourcing and careful, high-judgment screening. Candidates must be based in the US and be available during core working hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT.
Benefits
- Paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and public holidays.
- Learning and development support.
- Ability to work from home.
- Flexible working schedule.
- Performance-based bonus opportunities.
Additional information
This is a high-ownership position where your recruiting performance will directly influence company growth. The company operates asynchronously and expects a recruiter who can work independently while supporting hiring across multiple functions.
