Job description

Role Summary

FINN is a fast-growing fintech launched in 2022 by seasoned founders, focused on giving workers access to financial tools that have often been out of reach. The platform supports early wage access, financial literacy, budgeting, micro-insurance, and additional income opportunities, and it has already reached strong product-market fit with rapid expansion across Asia.

As the company grows from about 60 people to 200+ and beyond, it is hiring a Talent Acquisition Lead to establish and scale the recruiting function. This is a high-ownership leadership position based remotely and aligned to Asia working hours, reporting to the CEO and partnering closely with the founding and leadership team.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for shaping FINN’s hiring strategy and building a recruiting engine that can support the company’s next stage of growth. The role begins with leading a small TA team covering Southeast Asia and global remote hiring, with a strong emphasis on technical and leadership recruitment.

  • Take ownership of hiring for strategic, senior, and technical roles.
  • Create strong talent pipelines across engineering, product, data, operations, and growth.
  • Manage the entire recruiting cycle, from defining the need to closing offers, while balancing speed, quality, and candidate experience.
  • Develop structured, scalable, and data-led hiring processes that improve consistency and reduce bias.
  • Work with hiring managers to keep interviews efficient and hiring decisions well-calibrated.
  • Proactively identify and engage passive candidates in key markets.
  • Set and execute the hiring roadmap to support rapid team expansion.
  • Collaborate with founders and hiring managers on workforce planning and hiring priorities.
  • Lead, coach, and grow the TA team across Southeast Asia and remote markets.
  • Provide market intelligence, talent insights, and practical hiring recommendations to leadership.
  • Introduce recruiting KPIs, reporting, and operating practices that improve funnel health and hiring efficiency.
  • Use technology and AI tools to boost recruiter productivity, hiring quality, and scalability.
  • Maintain a consistent, candidate-focused experience throughout the hiring journey.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in talent acquisition within fast-growing companies.
  • At least 2 years of people management experience.
  • Background as a technical recruiter.
  • Proven experience helping companies grow from around 50 employees to 200 employees.
  • Strong operational discipline and a bias for ownership in improving recruiting outcomes.
  • Ability to move comfortably between strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Experience building and improving talent acquisition processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability.
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth setting.
  • Experience working across remote or multi-country environments; Southeast Asia experience is a plus.

Additional Information

This position is fully remote and is intended for work aligned to the Asia time zone. The department is People, and the role reports directly to the CEO.
