Job description
About Talabat
Talabat is a major online platform for ordering food and groceries in the MENA region, serving 9 countries across the area. Started in Kuwait in 2004 by a small team of entrepreneurs, the company grew across the GCC, Egypt, and Jordan to become one of the region’s most widely used food ordering apps. With more than 2,000 employees and millions of customers, Talabat handles hundreds of thousands of orders each day. It is also part of the Delivery Hero network, which is developing the next generation of delivery platforms worldwide. The wider network has engineering teams in 13 countries and business operations in more than 40 countries.
Role Summary
Talabat’s Talent team is hiring a motivated Talent Acquisition Intern for a contract-based, entry-level role. This position is suited to someone eager to build a strong base in HR operations, data handling, and coordination work. The role is focused less on direct sourcing and more on the administrative backbone of the Talent Acquisition function. The intern will help keep interview scheduling running smoothly, maintain accurate records, and support operational excellence across hiring workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate complex interview schedules across multiple stakeholders, including teams working in different functions and time zones, such as the Tech Leadership group.
- Take ownership of recruitment trackers, master spreadsheets, and reports by updating and organizing data in Google Sheets and Excel with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist with ATS administration by keeping candidate profiles, stage updates, and other recruitment information current.
- Handle general operational and administrative tasks, including support for templates, calendars, workflow improvements, and ad hoc talent acquisition projects.
Qualifications
This opportunity is for a recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline. The ideal candidate should already have solid hands-on exposure to Google Sheets or Excel, including data entry, filters, basic formulas, and well-structured reporting. Prior experience in administrative, scheduling, or coordination work is helpful. Strong attention to detail, the ability to juggle priorities, and comfort working under competing deadlines are important. Talabat is also looking for someone who is curious, open-minded, humble, and able to think in a structured, systems-oriented way when breaking down operational tasks.
Additional Information
This is an entry-level contract role based onsite in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The work is centered on HR operations, logistics, and data integrity rather than active recruitment outreach. No stipend or salary amount is specified in the source.
