Role overview
This position sits within a collaborative talent partnerships function for a major media brand. The coordinator will help connect talent, brand partners, and internal creative/business teams to support entertainment campaigns and partnership activations. The role is contract-based for 12+ months and follows a hybrid schedule in New York, NY, with four in-office days each week and Fridays worked remotely.
Location: 1221 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10020.
What you'll do
- Assist with talent casting, partnership development, and early-stage campaign brainstorming.
- Help prepare, structure, and negotiate talent-related agreements.
- Coordinate across internal departments and external stakeholders to keep projects moving.
- Handle travel, itineraries, scheduling, and on-site logistics for participating talent.
- Support production activities before, during, and after shoots or events, including payroll, appearances, and PR-related deliverables.
- Monitor partnership outcomes, maintain shared team materials, and organize reporting resources.
- Compile post-event summaries and gather press, photography, and campaign coverage.
- Provide day-to-day administrative help such as calendar upkeep and meeting coordination.
What we're looking for
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in talent management, booking, partnerships, communications, or events within a television network, agency, or media company.
- Prior exposure to high-profile entertainment projects or talent-focused campaigns.
- Strong planning abilities and a sharp eye for detail.
- Comfort working under tight deadlines and being available outside normal working hours when needed.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, WordPress, and Canva.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, ever-changing team environment.
- Clear and effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Genuine interest in pop culture, entertainment, and emerging creators.
- Experience working across large or matrixed organizations is advantageous.
Preferred background
- Experience in talent relations, bookings, partnerships, or management is highly relevant.
- Understanding of contract language and talent endorsement agreements is helpful.
- Previous collaboration with agents, managers, or producers would be a plus.
- A proactive, service-oriented problem solver with a polished, high-touch approach is preferred.
Additional details
This is a 12+ month contract role. The working model is hybrid: four days onsite and Fridays remote. The role may require flexibility to work beyond standard hours depending on project needs.
