Overview
This opportunity is for a highly organized, detail-driven, and people-oriented Talent Acquisition Operations Coordinator to join a Human Resources team. The role sits within the talent acquisition function and supports recruiting operations, candidate experience, employer branding, university recruiting, and recruiting technology. It is well-suited to someone who can juggle several priorities in a fast-moving environment while helping create a smooth, positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Compensation and work setup
The pay range for this position is $24.23 to $27.55 per hour. This is a non-exempt contract role based in Denver, Colorado, with an on-site schedule. During the initial training period, the position is fully on-site five days a week. After 90 days, there is an opportunity to transition to a permanent role with a hybrid schedule of three days in the office each week.
Recruiting operations
- Manage recruiting workflows using UKG Recruiting and other talent acquisition systems.
- Handle job requisitions, job postings, candidate movement, and offer requests.
- Keep candidate and recruiting data accurate, complete, and well-maintained.
- Administer recruiting platforms and subscriptions such as UKG Recruiting, Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, and other sourcing resources.
- Oversee the shared Talent Acquisition inbox and respond or route items as needed.
- Prepare recruiting reports and metrics when requested.
Candidate experience
- Arrange interviews and coordinate logistics for candidates and hiring teams.
- Act as a main contact point throughout the hiring process.
- Support a polished, welcoming, and engaging candidate journey from application through onboarding.
- Assist with offer preparation and pre-employment steps.
Pre-employment and onboarding support
- Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and other pre-employment screenings.
- Track screening outcomes and share timely updates with recruiters and hiring managers.
- Help prepare onboarding materials and support new-hire readiness.
Employer branding and university recruiting
- Assist with employer branding efforts across recruiting channels and social media.
- Coordinate career fairs, networking events, university partnerships, and recruiting programs.
- Organize recruiting materials, event planning details, and candidate communication.
Compliance and process improvement
- Maintain recruiting records in line with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Ensure recruiting practices align with EEO requirements and internal policy.
- Support compliance with pay transparency, applicant tracking, and record-retention rules.
- Document, review, and improve recruiting processes over time.
Required qualifications
Candidates should have an associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The role calls for 2 to 4 years of experience supporting recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or administrative operations. Experience with an applicant tracking system is required, and UKG Recruiting experience is strongly preferred. Strong organizational ability, project coordination, communication skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage overlapping deadlines are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is also needed. Confidentiality and sound judgment are important in this role.
Preferred background
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related area is preferred. Additional strengths include experience supporting recruiting across multiple states, familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Handshake, or similar tools, knowledge of employment law and recruiting compliance, and exposure to employer branding or campus recruiting work.
