Role overview
An opportunity has opened for a dedicated Support Worker to join a newly launched nursing home in the Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire area. The home, which started operations in summer 2024, is one of the UK's leading healthcare providers' flagship services and has been designed to combine premium facilities with resident wellbeing in a convenient edge-of-town setting.
Essential qualification
Applicants must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care to be considered for this role.
Key duties
The role focuses on delivering high-quality support and day-to-day care to residents, helping them maintain dignity, comfort, and independence.
- Play an active part in the care team by supporting residents' wellbeing and delivering excellent standards of care.
- Help with everyday routines, including personal care, hygiene support, companionship, and activities such as days out.
- Encourage residents to stay independent while assisting vulnerable individuals with their daily tasks and activities.

Pay and working pattern
This is a permanent full-time position offering 36 hours per week. Shifts are available on days or nights. Pay is GBP 13.45 per hour, which works out to GBP 25,178.40 per year.
