Role Overview
This position is for a Supply Chain Supervisor based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role is focused on overseeing warehouse, logistics, inventory, and procurement activities within a tobacco-industry environment.
Core Focus Areas
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and keep stock records aligned with physical counts.
- Track goods moving into and out of the warehouse and ensure shipment flow is managed smoothly.
- Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to support supply chain operations.
- Handle procurement of required materials and supplies in a timely manner.
- Apply FIFO/FEFO methods and other stock-control practices to protect inventory quality.
- Carry out stock checks, audits, and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Support efficient warehouse use through better storage planning and space optimization.
- Manage import/export paperwork and shipping-related documentation.
- Use ERP and inventory systems to monitor and control supply chain processes.
Experience and Background
Candidates should bring 5–8 years of experience in the tobacco sector, along with hands-on exposure to warehouse management, logistics, inventory control, and procurement.
