Role overview
BOC South Pacific is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to manage planning, coordination, and inventory-related activities at the Rocklea, Queensland site. The position focuses on keeping products available, supporting efficient operations, and ensuring deliveries are made in a cost-conscious way. You will partner with production, distribution, and sales teams to keep plans aligned with business priorities and customer demand.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle so demand and supply stay balanced.
- Keep inventory at the right level and help maintain accurate stock records across the network.
- Create and maintain production fill plans using plant capacity and forecast demand.
- Arrange transport schedules so products reach customers on time.
- Track and report performance indicators such as DIFOT and OTSA.
- Update and manage production planning master data in SAP.
- Prepare operational reports, including deferral and utilisation reporting, and distribute them as needed.
- Work with Operations, Distribution, Sales, and CSC teams to support ongoing improvement efforts.
- Contribute to local and national supply chain projects and initiatives.
Candidate profile
- Background in supply chain, inventory control, production planning, or a similar function.
- Hands-on familiarity with SAP and MRP-based systems.
- Strong ability to analyse data and solve problems effectively.
- Comfortable handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Good communication skills and confidence in working with stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence across different teams.
- Relevant qualification in planning or supply chain, or equivalent practical experience; 3+ years of experience is preferred.
