Role overview
This is a permanent, on-site opportunity in Dublin with a multinational organisation. The position combines supply chain planning responsibilities with business analysis work and offers a strong salary plus benefits.
What you'll do
- Keep day-to-day supply chain activities moving smoothly by working with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to support product availability and reliable service.
- Handle inventory planning, replenishment, and purchasing tasks so service targets and operational KPIs are met.
- Track performance measures, investigate the root causes behind issues, and highlight areas where processes can be improved.
- Develop productive supplier partnerships while also supporting reporting needs for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Help shape, document, and roll out supply chain strategies, workflows, and operating models.
- Review current business processes, spot opportunities to streamline or automate them, and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts.
- Convert business needs into functional specifications, partner with technical teams on system changes, and assist with user acceptance testing.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource across the full supply chain cycle, covering planning, procurement, supplier management, logistics, warehousing, distribution, and returns.
What the employer is looking for
- A qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a similar area, or at least 5 years of experience in supply chain, operations, procurement, logistics, or a related field.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems.
- Practical exposure to analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, or comparable platforms.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and sound judgement.
- Clear communication, strong interpersonal skills, and confidence in managing stakeholders.
- Well-developed organisation, planning, and time-management capabilities.
- Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and integrated planning systems.
- Experience collecting business requirements, documenting them, and turning them into workable solutions.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally.
- A proactive, detail-focused approach with the ability to juggle several priorities in a busy environment.
