What you'll do

  • Keep day-to-day supply chain activities moving smoothly by working with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to support product availability and reliable service.
  • Handle inventory planning, replenishment, and purchasing tasks so service targets and operational KPIs are met.
  • Track performance measures, investigate the root causes behind issues, and highlight areas where processes can be improved.
  • Develop productive supplier partnerships while also supporting reporting needs for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Help shape, document, and roll out supply chain strategies, workflows, and operating models.
  • Review current business processes, spot opportunities to streamline or automate them, and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts.
  • Convert business needs into functional specifications, partner with technical teams on system changes, and assist with user acceptance testing.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource across the full supply chain cycle, covering planning, procurement, supplier management, logistics, warehousing, distribution, and returns.

What the employer is looking for

  • A qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a similar area, or at least 5 years of experience in supply chain, operations, procurement, logistics, or a related field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems.
  • Practical exposure to analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, or comparable platforms.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and sound judgement.
  • Clear communication, strong interpersonal skills, and confidence in managing stakeholders.
  • Well-developed organisation, planning, and time-management capabilities.
  • Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and integrated planning systems.
  • Experience collecting business requirements, documenting them, and turning them into workable solutions.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally.
  • A proactive, detail-focused approach with the ability to juggle several priorities in a busy environment.
