Job description

Role overview

PwC Ireland’s Advisory practice is looking for a Manager to join its Supply Chain and Operations consulting team in Dublin. The role focuses on helping clients improve how they run, cut costs, manage risk, use talent effectively, and redesign operating models to achieve stronger business results.

About the team

The Supply Chain team sits within the Transformation practice and works with organisations to improve supply chain performance, introduce new ways of working, deploy innovative solutions, and unlock efficiencies. The team’s work spans four connected areas: supply chain strategy and logistics, manufacturing, procurement, and digital. Current priorities are concentrated on supply chain and procurement transformation, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence.

What you will work on

You will support clients across Ireland and internationally, including FMCG, retail, pharma, manufacturing, technology, and media organisations. Projects can be large in scale and may involve working with other PwC teams such as Change Management, Technology, Data and Analytics, and Tax, as well as subject matter experts across the global network.

  • Helping design and deliver the operational integration of multinational businesses across multiple European markets.
  • Supporting clients in identifying synergies and operational improvements after acquisitions.
  • Assisting pharmaceutical and life sciences clients with CSRD reporting and Scope 3 emissions calculations through data analysis and methodology development.
  • Contributing to warehouse strategy work to support capacity planning and capability enhancement.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead client assignments and coordinate with local and global teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Support business development through proposals, pre-sales activities, industry events, and new opportunity identification.
  • Coach, motivate, and develop team members while encouraging learning, innovation, and growth.
  • Help refine PwC’s supply chain offerings by monitoring market developments and engaging with the wider PwC network and clients.

Requirements

  • A degree qualification and at least 5 years of experience in supply chain.
  • Strong depth in one or more supply chain areas such as modelling and strategy, logistics and network optimisation, demand or supply planning, manufacturing, procurement, outsourcing, or 3PL/4PL and CMO arrangements.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale supply chain transformation programmes.
  • Working knowledge of supply chain technology solutions, including digital supply chain and procurement tools or Industry 4.0 concepts.
  • Ability to lead, inspire, and enable diverse teams to deliver strong client outcomes.
