Role Summary

This is a full-time remote Supply Chain Manager position responsible for managing the complete supply chain process so product availability, cost control, and on-time delivery are maintained. The role involves creating and updating demand forecasts, aligning supply plans with business objectives, and tracking performance indicators to identify and solve problems early. You will oversee inventory across locations, refine reorder points and safety stock levels, and maintain accurate information in the relevant systems. The position also includes procurement ownership such as vendor selection, commercial negotiations, purchase order handling, and supplier relationship management. In addition, you will work closely with operations, finance, sales, and logistics teams to improve workflows, support launches of new products or projects, and strengthen continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain demand forecasts using historical performance and market patterns.
  • Monitor supply chain metrics and use them to spot risks, delays, or inefficiencies before they affect service.
  • Coordinate stock levels across locations and keep replenishment plans aligned with business needs.
  • Set and adjust reorder points and safety stock to balance service levels and inventory cost.
  • Keep supply chain and inventory data accurate and current in the relevant systems.
  • Handle procurement activities including supplier screening, negotiation, and purchase order administration.
  • Manage supplier relationships to support reliability, performance, and cost effectiveness.
  • Work with operations, finance, sales, and logistics teams to improve processes and support new launches.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across planning, sourcing, and distribution activities.

Requirements

  • Strong capability in demand planning and forecasting, with the ability to interpret historical data and market trends.
  • Solid analytical skills and comfort working with dashboards, reports, and data-driven decision making.
  • Practical experience in procurement and supply management, including supplier assessment, negotiations, and purchase order handling.
  • Experience managing inventory levels, replenishment planning, and excess or obsolete stock reduction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related area; relevant hands-on experience may also be considered.
  • Working knowledge of supply chain or ERP platforms, along with intermediate to advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skills.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills for effective work in a remote, cross-functional environment.
  • Background in process improvement methods such as Lean or Six Sigma is advantageous, and exposure to logistics or transportation management is a plus.
