Job Description
This hybrid role, based in Bristol, PA, requires 2-3 days per week onsite and does not offer fully remote work. The D365 SCM Solution Architect will be an integral part of the Business Systems team, tasked with managing, designing, and continuously enhancing supply chain solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM). This is a hands-on position focused on post-go-live support for an omni-channel business encompassing wholesale, retail, personalization, eCommerce, and third-party logistics operations. The role involves close collaboration with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, eCommerce, and IT departments to ensure D365 effectively supports procurement, inventory management, warehousing, order fulfillment, and integrations with platforms like Shopify, Manhattan SCALE WMS, 3PL partners, and other enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary solution owner and functional architect for D365 SCM, overseeing both Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
- Develop and provide support for supply chain solutions covering procurement, inventory, warehouse management, order management, and fulfillment.
- Collaborate with business teams to translate operational needs into scalable D365 configurations, minimizing the need for custom development.
- Serve as the point of escalation for complex, supply chain-related production issues, leading root-cause analysis efforts.
- Define and maintain governance for integrations between D365 and associated systems, including Shopify, Manhattan SCALE WMS, EDI partners, 3PLs, and internal data platforms.
- Work with integration and development teams on API development, data entities, batch job management, and interface monitoring.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to personalization workflows, vendor fulfillment processes, and warehouse operations.
- Generate and maintain comprehensive solution documentation, such as functional design documents, process flows, and data mapping specifications.
- Participate in release planning activities, testing coordination, and post-deployment validation processes.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of direct experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
- Proficient functional knowledge in procurement, inventory management, warehouse management, and order fulfillment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting and enhancing a live, production D365 environment.
- Solid understanding of D365 SCM data structures, entities, and core business processes.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating D365 with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), eCommerce platforms, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), or third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Prior experience in the retail, manufacturing, or distribution sectors.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure-based integration methodologies.
- Previous roles as a Solution Architect, Lead Functional Consultant, or Senior Business Systems Analyst.
