Key responsibilities

  • Stay in regular contact with suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders about shipment progress and operational needs.
  • Keep inventory, order, and logistics data current and accurate in company systems.
  • Assist with procurement, order completion, and inventory replenishment activities.
  • Draft shipping paperwork, reports, and other logistics-related records.
  • Monitor stock levels and support planning and control of inventory.
  • Spot logistics problems, delayed shipments, and process mismatches, then help resolve them.
  • Follow transportation rules, company policies, and operational procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Review logistics performance and suggest ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Help with demand planning, supply coordination, and warehouse support tasks when needed.
  • Support reporting, data review, and performance tracking for supply chain operations.
  • Work with teams across the business to ensure supply chain activities are carried out effectively.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvement efforts aimed at stronger operations and better customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Working knowledge of supply chain functions, logistics workflows, and inventory control basics.
  • Confident use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and similar business tools.
  • Experience with ERP platforms, inventory systems, or logistics software is an added advantage.
  • Strong ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks at once.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when handling records and documentation.
  • Clear communication and coordination skills.
  • A logical, analytical approach to solving operational issues.
  • Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Good teamwork and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Comfort working independently and adapting to changing business needs.
  • Professional, dependable, and committed to high operational standards.
  • Willingness to keep learning and improve processes continuously.
