About the Role

This position is based in our Sevenum office and warehouse, near Venlo. As the Supply Chain Director, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing intelligent, efficient, and customer-centric demand and supply planning strategies across multiple warehouses and sales channels. Your primary objective will be to guarantee product availability at the optimal time and location. You and your team will oversee forecasting, inventory management, and supplier relations, meticulously balancing stock levels, minimizing stockouts, and ensuring healthy inventory turnover. Utilizing a strategic, data-driven approach, you will identify opportunities for enhancement and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will also lead a team of 5 direct reports and approximately 35 indirect colleagues, ensuring scalable, efficient, and compliant operations across various countries. Your leadership will focus on inspiring teams, fostering strong collaboration, and elevating overall performance. Success in this role will be measured by high forecast accuracy, robust service levels, healthy inventory metrics, and ongoing improvements in planning processes.

Job Description - Your Tasks

• Spearhead end-to-end demand and supply planning to achieve precise forecasts, maintain optimal inventory, and ensure strong product availability across all markets and warehouses.
• Enhance inventory performance by reducing stockout risks, improving stock rotation, and effectively managing necessary purchases.
• Implement data-driven forecasting and planning methodologies, consistently boosting accuracy, efficiency, and overall operational performance.
• Manage and nurture supplier relationships to guarantee supply continuity, mitigate potential risks, and strengthen collaborative partnerships.
• Lead and develop your team (5 direct, 35 indirect reports), focusing on capability enhancement and high-performance outcomes.
• Serve as a crucial liaison within the organization, fostering strong stakeholder management to synchronize demand, supply, and operational priorities. Collaborate closely with Commercial Operations, Category Management, Strategic Procurement, Logistics, and Pharma Operations to ensure seamless coordination of demand plans, supply continuity, and warehouse capacities. Engage with senior leadership across Operations & Supply Chain to align on planning strategies, performance targets, and key business objectives.

Qualifications - About You

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in demand planning, supply planning, forecasting, or inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret planning, inventory, and supply data to inform strategic decisions.
• Proven track record of leading teams and driving cross-functional alignment within a supply chain context.
• Successfully managed multi-warehouse or multi-country planning operations.
• Experience within an e-commerce environment is essential.
• Willingness to work from our Sevenum office at least three days per week.

Note: This position operates under a Dutch employment contract. The salary range provided reflects Dutch compensation standards and is part of a comprehensive benefits package.
