About the role
Aspiri is hiring a Supply Chain Director to oversee the end-to-end supply chain function for a remote role based in the United States. The position will focus on building supply chain strategy, coordinating suppliers and logistics, controlling inventory, improving operations, and working closely with other teams to keep the supply chain running smoothly and to support business growth.
Candidates with backgrounds in manufacturing, medical devices, industrial products, consumer goods, or similar sectors are especially encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the supply chain department’s overall planning and day-to-day operations.
- Create and execute supply chain strategies that strengthen efficiency and performance.
- Oversee supplier relationships and maintain a dependable, well-functioning supply network.
- Manage procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics across the supply chain.
- Improve supply chain workflows to raise delivery speed and service quality.
- Track inventory levels and maintain an appropriate stock balance.
- Develop and apply cost-reduction plans that improve resource use.
- Review market trends and operational data to enhance management practices.
- Work closely with procurement, operations, sales, and quality teams.
- Recruit, guide, and develop the supply chain team.
- Drive supply chain initiatives and ensure assigned goals are completed.
- Take on other related duties as needed by the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- At least 10 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of people management experience.
- Strong understanding of supply chain systems and operational workflows.
- Hands-on experience in supplier, inventory, and logistics management.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead projects independently and deliver results.
- Comfort using office software and ERP platforms.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred experience
- Background in international supply chain operations.
- Exposure to supply chain optimization or process improvement initiatives.
