Role overview
This is a full-time remote opportunity for a Supply Chain Director. The position is responsible for managing the complete supply chain lifecycle for vehicle sourcing, procurement, and logistics, with a focus on delivering materials and vehicles to clients on time and within budget.
Core responsibilities
The role involves building and implementing supply chain plans, strengthening supplier partnerships, and coordinating production schedules with both internal teams and external partners. It also requires reviewing demand patterns, tracking inventory, and applying data-backed analysis to improve efficiency and reduce operational risks.
In addition, the Supply Chain Director will work closely with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure supply chain operations support wider business goals, quality requirements, and customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Solid background in supply chain management and operations, with hands-on responsibility for end-to-end workflows.
- Ability to coordinate production planning and align schedules with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Experience in procurement, including evaluating suppliers, negotiating terms, and monitoring vendor performance.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret operational data, improve process outcomes, and guide strategic decisions.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and complex workstreams in a remote setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong stakeholder and relationship management abilities.
- Exposure to automotive, luxury goods, or a similar high-value niche sector is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related discipline; an advanced degree or certifications such as CSCP or CPSM are an added advantage.
