Role Overview
Medyssey, Co., Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Director for a remote position in the USA. This is a full-time leadership role focused on guiding the company’s end-to-end supply chain function. The position calls for someone who can shape strategy, strengthen supplier relationships, manage inventory and logistics, and streamline processes so the supply chain runs reliably and supports business growth.
Background in medical manufacturing, medical devices, industrial manufacturing, or closely related sectors is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and long-term planning of the supply chain department.
- Create and execute supply chain strategies that raise efficiency and make better use of resources.
- Build, assess, and maintain supplier relationships to ensure a dependable supply base.
- Manage core supply chain activities including purchasing, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
- Refine supply chain workflows to improve delivery performance and service quality.
- Track and reduce supply chain costs while leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop supply plans aligned with business demand and ensure successful implementation.
- Watch market changes and supply chain risks, then update management approaches as needed.
- Work closely with procurement, production, operations, quality, and other internal teams.
- Design, improve, and maintain supply chain policies, systems, and operating procedures.
- Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team.
- Handle other related duties assigned by the company.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- At least 10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or a similar field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing teams.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and operating models.
- Hands-on experience with supplier management, inventory control, and logistics coordination.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational leadership abilities.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently lead projects and deliver results.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools and ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to international supply chain management.
- Experience delivering supply chain optimization and cost reduction projects.
- Familiarity with ERP platforms and supply chain software/tools.
