- Coordinate temperature-controlled transport and monitor shipments to protect product quality.
- Work with specialty courier and white-glove logistics providers such as FedEx Custom Critical, World Courier, UPS Premier, and QuickStat.
- Prepare and maintain global shipping paperwork, including commercial invoices, certificates of origin, delivery notes, and export-related documents.
- Confirm that documentation is complete and accurate to help clear customs without delay.
- Coordinate international air freight and other complex export movements.
- Ensure commercial invoices, delivery notes, certificates of analysis, and import permits are properly aligned.
- Act as the main contact for logistics exceptions such as delays, temperature excursions, and shipment complaints.
- Lead prompt investigation, resolution, and communication of logistics issues.
- Work daily with 3PL partners to manage inventory, including receipt of finished goods and outbound distribution.
- Review 3PL invoices and reconcile them with contracted services.
- Support monthly logistics reports and performance monitoring.
- Maintain accurate records and support GMP/GDP compliance through adherence to internal procedures.
- Track serialization system alerts and shipment data for both inbound and outbound activity.
- Investigate and escalate serialization-related exceptions when required.
- Provide procurement assistance through cross-training on purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and order changes.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Life Sciences, or an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical logistics, supply chain, or distribution operations is strongly preferred.
- Prior exposure to cold chain logistics and handling temperature-sensitive products is preferred.
- Working knowledge of international shipping requirements, export paperwork, and customs processes.
