Role overview
This full-time Supply Chain Analyst position based in the United States is focused on improving the performance of end-to-end supply chain activities. The role involves working across procurement, logistics, inventory control, and demand planning to uncover inefficiencies, support better decision-making, reduce costs, and strengthen overall operational effectiveness.
Key responsibilities
- Examine supply chain datasets to spot patterns, potential risks, and areas where performance can be improved.
- Track stock levels, forecasted demand, and supply planning efforts.
- Provide support to procurement, logistics, and distribution workflows.
- Create and update reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.
- Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly.
- Detect process slowdowns or constraints in the supply chain and suggest practical improvements.
- Assist with demand planning and forecasting tasks.
- Review supplier performance and contribute to vendor management activities.
- Maintain accuracy of information across supply chain systems and reporting platforms.
- Help drive cost-saving and efficiency-focused initiatives.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or a similar discipline is needed.
- Prior experience of 1 to 3 years in supply chain, logistics, procurement, operations, or another data-focused analytical role is expected.
- Strong capability in analysis and structured problem-solving.
- Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis functions.
- Exposure to reporting and visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
- A solid understanding of supply chain processes and day-to-day operations.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- The ability to handle several priorities in a busy, fast-moving environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience using ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of inventory management, forecasting, and demand planning tools.
- Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools.
- Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or related process-improvement methods.
- Background in manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce supply chain environments is advantageous.
